About me
Who Am I?
I graduated with my Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. Of course I learned the necessary skills that'll come in handy for the job life. But I also learned how to think critically, and considerately. Programming involves a good level of thoughtfulness. It's this consideration to what should belong and what doesn't - I feel you could apply this mode of thinking to every facet of life. Do things with a clear purpose, I suppose.

Salesfloor Associate - Lowes
Not on my resume. But this was my first job. Added to the years of great customer service. Did cashier work, and worked with the receiving crew for inventory. There's a lot of tools we sell - and screws! Who knew!
2023
Researcher/Penetration Tester - Texas A&M University Corpus Christi
AI has become such a buzzword for 2023. I say it like I don't like studying it, it is an attractive subject. My research involved closely looking at OpenAI's language model and studying the practices of the company's own Red Teams. The research also involved simulating a phishing attack with ChatGPT's help. We did this by creating a fake social media site with the capability of capturing the user's data. We also looked at the possibility of harmful responses to peculiar queries the user could submit. The language model is great at correctly judging harmful material when answering in plaing english. However, when asked to code, the model's judgment is not so clearly guided. You see the red teams' own biases at play in educating the AI model.

2023
Game Programmer/Designer - Texas A&M University Corpus Christi
My senior capstone project involved working in a group, closely following the Agile development cycle, and keeping in close contact with our client. My responsibilities involved creating the game environment, which involved working on multiple levels. Generating scripts for traps, working on the enemy AI, and working on player functions that involved, walking, jumping and picking up items.
2020-2023
Bachelor of Science, Computer Science, Systems Programming - Texas A&M University Corpus Christi
What a short time. Upon reflection, I understand the curriculum and how it was given to me. Starting from the most rudimentary skills, to establishing a good business sense, to moving on to what the future may hold with the rise of AI. I learned great programming skills in a handful of languages, along with the necessary skills to communicate effectively.
My Portfolio
Here's a cool game we made!
Here is our big research project. We were enveloped with Artificial Intelligence in our Models of Computation course. Our team was responsible for researching red team procedures and applying it to ChatGPT's language model. In short, we tried to break the model by stuffing it with user prompts that we knew were considered harmful to either other users, groups, or organizations. We wanted to see if ChatGPT knew. Look for my contributions beginning on page 20!
